Pro Max Electrical technician working at an outdoor breaker panel next to the meter
From our Google profile

Most electrical calls start with something that stopped working: a dead outlet, a breaker that won't stay on, half a room with no power. We diagnose first. Resetting a breaker without finding out why it tripped only pushes the problem down the road.

We also take on the jobs that come after a move or a remodel: a new circuit for a garage fridge or a double oven, outlets where the TV is going, GFCI protection in kitchens and baths, new smoke detectors, and code corrections from a home inspection. In homes built with aluminum branch wiring, we repair the connections with AlumiConn connectors, which many insurers want to see.

What the job includes

  • Troubleshooting dead outlets, flickering lights and tripping breakers
  • Switch and outlet repairs and replacements
  • GFCI and arc fault protection
  • New outlets and dedicated circuits (20 amp and up)
  • Appliance wiring for ovens, ranges, dryers and garage fridges
  • Aluminum wiring repairs with AlumiConn connectors, or replacement
  • Smoke detector replacement and upgrades
  • Inspection reports and code corrections

Signs it's time to call

  • An outlet or switch that is warm, sparks or doesn't work
  • A breaker that keeps tripping
  • Lights that flicker when an appliance kicks on
  • Two-prong outlets, or a home inspection that flagged wiring
  • A house built in the mid 1960s to mid 1970s that may have aluminum wiring

What it costs

Repairs are priced by what we find, and we tell you the price before we fix anything. New circuits depend on the distance from the panel and how the wire has to run. Inspection lists are quoted item by item, so you can decide what to do now and what can wait.

From a customer

"Team did a great job for our project. We had them Run 20 amp circuit 15 ft. And a ceiling fan deletion. They were very informative every step of the way."Martha R., Google review

Questions about this job.

What people ask us about repairs, outlets and new circuits.

Or call (832) 464-4258

Often, yes. A new outlet for a TV or a lamp can usually come off an existing one, as long as the circuit can carry it. Heavy loads, like a garage fridge or a space heater, should get their own circuit. We check before we add anything.

Aluminum branch wiring expands and contracts more than copper, which loosens connections over time, and that is how fires start. Many insurers won't cover a home with it unless a licensed electrical contractor repairs the connections with AlumiConn connectors. We do those repairs, or replace the wiring if that makes more sense.

No. The breaker is usually doing its job. Something on that circuit is overloaded or faulted, and swapping the breaker without finding the cause is dangerous. We find the cause first. Call (832) 464-4258.
