Tomball still has its old downtown, with older homes on the streets around Main Street and the railroad tracks. Out along Tomball Parkway and FM 2920, newer neighborhoods keep filling in. We work in both.

In the older part of town, calls tend to be about outdated panels, too few outlets, and wiring that has been added onto over the years. In the newer subdivisions, it is lighting, ceiling fans, chargers and generator inlets for the next storm.

Tomball is a short drive up Highway 249 from Cypress. That is our van at the Tomball mural in the photo above.

The houses in Tomball

Older homes near Old Town Tomball can have decades of add-on wiring, two-prong outlets and panels that are past their prime. Newer homes off 249 and FM 2920 are built to current code but often come with the bare minimum of lighting and outlets.

What we keep an eye on here

On the rural edges of Tomball, power can stay out for a long stretch after a storm, and a generator inlet lets a portable generator carry the essentials. Lightning is the other reason to have surge protection at the panel.

Permits in Tomball

Addresses inside the City of Tomball go through the city for permitted work, and addresses outside it are usually unincorporated Harris County. We check yours first.

Yes. We work in Tomball proper and across the unincorporated areas around it, out along 249, FM 2920 and Rosehill.

Yes. Older homes often have too few outlets and some two-prong ones. We can add circuits and outlets, put in grounded and GFCI outlets where code calls for them, and make sure the panel can carry the extra load.
