"I called 4-5 different companies trying to get a generator hookup to my house and got quoted $1500-$2500, Pro Max did for less than half, came out within a few days, did excellent work that's up to code and even labeled all my breakers in my panel for free."

After Beryl, a lot of Houston went days without power. If you own a portable generator, we can install an inlet box on the outside wall and an interlock on your panel. Then one cord powers the circuits you choose, without running extension cords through the house.
Try the switch. The interlock is a plate that only lets the main breaker or the generator breaker be on, never both. That keeps generator power off the street, where it could hurt a line worker.
Grid power: the main breaker is on and the interlock holds the generator breaker off. Everything runs.
